I had been looking for a mat style bed for my girls, one of them is older and has some back issues and she can't climb into big high calming beds. They also prefer to snuggle into the warmth of a fluffy bed. As soon as we got the Furlore mat, our Spitz puppy laid in it for hours. It was like the mat melted around him that gave him a soft and comforting feeling. The luxurious thick cover is so plush and soft that even makes us want to sleep in it. The inside cushion is very thick - a lot thicker than some of the more well-known brands in the market. We can genuinely see that the mat has a calming effect and helps Ollie relax for hours on end. Our puppy is a persistent chewer and so far the mat has been durable to withstand the pull. The outer material can be detached from the inside cushion which makes for easy cleaning. When we had to put the mat to the washing machine because of a vomit, I was a bit worried. But voila - the mat retains its softness, shape and plushiness. We highly recommend the Furlore mat!
